Telebid (www.telebid.com, www.telebid.de, www.telebid.es) is an exciting and unique eCommerce start-up that has been running in Germany for two years, has launched in the UK in December 2007 and in Spain in May 2008. Telebid will now move into the US market as part of an international expansion plan.
We run a unique business managing fast-paced online auctions of new products.  We sell a range of technology products and appliances, including notebook computers, LCD TVs and games consoles. By charging a small amount for each bid placed we’re able to offer the winners incredible deals, and give everyone who bids a thrill along the way.

1. Customer Service Agent (native English)

For our US and UK members we are looking for a Customer Service Agent (native English). The position is located in our headquarters in Munich.

Your responsibilities:

• Answering member e-mails on the following topics: member accounts, technical problems, help on the website, payments, auctions, etc.
• Coordination with other departments to resolve members' problems
• Promotion of positive interaction between members and the firm
• Fraud prevention and fraud management
• Quality control of the website, of payments and of the member database

Your profile:

• We are looking for young professionals from all fields, ideally with a background in communication or new media
• You have excellent English verbal and written communication skills (US native speakers preferred)
• Talent for diplomatic communication and conveying a positive image of the firm
• Talent for organization, the ability to work under pressure, a strong focus on service, the ability to work in a team and flexibility in an international team

2. Online Marketing Manager

For our US subsidiary in the Silicon Valley we are looking for an Online Marketing Manager.

Are you a PPC guru looking for an opportunity to expand your skills beyond media buying and into multivariable testing and best practices?  Do you have a proven record of cracking the code for new PPC campaigns to hit volume and ROI targets? Performance based marketing experience is a must (CPC/CPL/CPA).  Our international, fast pace and creative marketing team wants to hear from you!

Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager has responsibility for acquiring and retaining bidders on TeleBid, using a variety of marketing techniques including search marketing, affiliates and email.

• Media buying/planning
• Ad tracking and trafficking

• SEO experience
• Experience building relationships with SE reps

Bonus points for:

• Performance-based media experience (CPC/CPA/CPL)
• Search marketing (SEM)

Specific Duties:

• Provide planning and operational ownership of media activities

3. Accountant (m/f) for US operations

For our financial services in our Munich headquarters we are looking for an Accountant (m/f).

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure all transactions (bank, suppliers, customers) are well recorded in our accounting systems in due time
• Manage payments for our suppliers and refunds to our customers
• Ensure that best practices and key policies are applied and significant issues brought to the attention of the Head of Accounting
• Perform account reconciliations on an ongoing basis
• Monitor accounts receivables
• Perform fixed assets accounting
• Assist Head of Accounting in month-end and year end closure

Your profile:

• We are looking for accounting professionals with US-GAAP knowledge, ideally an university degree in economics, accountancy or equivalent
• Ideally 2 years experience in accounting acquired in an international company
• You have excellent English verbal and written communication skills (US native speakers preferred)
• Talent for organization, the ability to work under pressure, a strong focus on service, the ability to work in a team and in an international environment

• Leading the procurement department with employees located in Munich and London

6. Internship in our Spanish Auction Team

Job Description:
As an intern within the Spanish Auction Team you will be responsible for a broad range of different tasks across our organization.  You’ll get to experience a range of activities in Marketing, Procurement, Auction Management and Customer Service and specifically be involved into the following topics: 

• Assisting with marketing activities such as Google AdWords and other online advertising
• Creating daily email newsletters to existing clients to promote special products and new offers
• Localising text into Spanish for global activities planned across TeleBid’s websites
• Finding equivalent products for our items that are available in the Spanish market to enable us to run auctions internationally
• Finding new online distributors in the Spanish market who can supply items to our winning bidders
• Purchasing goods and arranging delivery to our winners
• Handling customer service queries to help with customers’ questions and problems

Your Profile:
You are looking for an internship in a dynamic and international eCommerce company either as part of your current studies, or you have recently completed your course.  We are looking for team-oriented and motivated people who are not afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get stuck-in. You need to have good English skills with Spanish as your mother tongue; German language skills are not required but would be helpful.  You should be excited about eCommerce and the internet and have a solid knowledge of MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook).

7. Praktikant (m/f) für den Bereich Procurement am Standort München

Als Praktikant/-in im Bereich Procurement sind Sie für die Beschaffung und Disposition unserer Produkte verantwortlich. Zu Ihren Aufgaben zählt die Kommunikation mit unseren Lieferanten und Kunden. Zusätzlich unterstützen Sie das Einkaufsteam bei der Ansprache neuer Lieferanten und unterstützen bei der Optimierung der Beschaffungsprozesse.  
Ihre Aufgaben im Detail sind:

• Beschaffung und Disposition von Produkten
• Unterstützung bei der Akquisition neuer Lieferanten und Produkte
• Mitarbeit bei der Optimierung der Procurement-Prozesse und Einkaufskonditionen
• Erstellung von Serviceszenarien
• Mitarbeit im Bereich Gewährleistungs- und Reklamationsanforderungen

Ihr Profil:
Sie haben Ihr Studium erfolgreich absolviert oder befinden sich im Hauptstudium und sind auf der Suche nach einem längeren Praktikum in einem dynamischen E-Commerce Unternehmen.

Wir suchen teamorientierte Persönlichkeiten, die über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse verfügen und sich durch eine hohe Kunden- und Dienstleistungsorientierung auszeichnen. Erste Erfahrungen im Bereich Einkauf / Disposition und kaufmännische Fähigkeiten sind vorteilhaft. Gute Kenntnisse des Internet, sowie die sichere Benutzung von MS Office-Anwendungen setzen wir voraus.
